How Do You Know That Summer Is Over?

I found out when I went to the beach and there was no one in sight! :) After those hot summer days when the beach was buzzing with activity, it is back to being quiet and serene again. It is a nice area to just take a walk.

I had the whole beach to myself............

I didn't even see that many bugs! :)



I went to an art fair over the weekend and bought this sign, it is soooo true! I plan to put it on the front porch. It was a chilly weekend with rain but still couldn't dampen my shopping plans!

    I love this time of year, Mary! The beach is at its best, and the crowds have gone.
    The sign is true, but human nature is hard to go against.
    I think of you often! You should come back to Holidays when you feel up to it. Luvs asked me to tell you!

    Dishesdone...it is so hard to believe that summer is over! I am just not ready for cold weather, but I do like the fall with the beautiful changing of colors!

    Kathleen... We had a beautiful fall day today, it just could not have been nicer! Thanks to you and Luvs for the invitation; I may get back there some day! Now, off to check to see what you gals have been up to! :)

    Isn't that beach the one at Black River? And I'll bet you bought the sign at the Harrisville Labor Day craft show, I never miss it!
